Stinks and the screen is chopped (missing) both on left and right sides about an inch.
OSD Horizontal Width Control doesn't work.
It's the same in every resolution setting (1200x1600,1024x768, 800x600)
Checked with Different computers, got same result!
Everything else is fine (Vertical, Color, Focus, ...)

jimmoser45, Could be trash! Could be a Trade-in on a new monitor! Try to follow me on this will-ya!!! You take your K226WDB to store and maybe get $10 knocked off the new one? Anyhow, you walk out with new LCD display and 1, poss 2yrs warranty. But the sales guy who just toted your K226 back to the "bench tech" in the back room and says to his 'tech' "Hey, here's one more! You fix it,,, give it to your 8yr old!" The tech replys. "Hey... Thanks. I'll look it over after break." Well later that day the tech opens up you're K226 looks at some stuff inside and then proceeds to make a repair that might bring new life back to this monitor. Maybe an hour later the tech hooks up the K226 to a pc and pushes the "ON" button of the monitor and with $5 in new parts, and a little LUCK an 8 yr old will have an LCD monitor with a nice, bright, crisp text and graphics being displayed on your old unit!!! Check out youtube first for video clips on "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" to help you make a decision on what steps you might take to keep your K226 unit out of an 8yr old's bedroom!! 12fixlouie

get the monitor that you used previously, and on the Windows desktop, go to display properties, in settings> advanced, under the monitor tab, change the refresh rate to 60, which is common on these flat panels.
