Instructions: Hold the coupler on the underside of the jar with one hand. Use the spanner supplied with the mixer to remove the blade by turning it clockwise. I take it that you have tried EBAY ? Evertime I've been stuck for parts, there is always someone/place on EBAy selling. If not google the manufacturers and you will find if they are even available. Hope this helps.

All of these are great home use units, all the attachments are interchangeable between these. The difference between these mixers is the K5 is a 5 quart mixer and the K45 is a 4.5 quart mixer. As I own both of them they are great in the kitchen and have the same durability.
