My friend gave me her Philips mixer type HR 2992/B , but no instructions. It was made in Holland , probably around 1977.I would like to get a manual so that I could use this machine

I take it that you have tried EBAY ? Evertime I've been stuck for parts, there is always someone/place on EBAy selling. If not google the manufacturers and you will find if they are even available. Hope this helps.
I believe this product is much older than any of the manuals that Philips currently makes available on their website. Suggest you try sending a note to their customer service. Contact information here:
All of these are great home use units, all the attachments are interchangeable between these. The difference between these mixers is the K5 is a 5 quart mixer and the K45 is a 4.5 quart mixer. As I own both of them they are great in the kitchen and have the same durability.
