Using the yellow, white and red audio/video cables connect to the side panel of your LG TV and switch the Wii console on. Then press input button on remote and select AV 3 then OK and you should see Wii Menu.

Hello.

Here is what it says in Nintendo Wii SHop:

Some newer-model televisions may have difficulty properly displaying some Virtual Console games downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel. If you are experiencing problems (such as a blank screen but you can hear the game's audio), please try the following:
Try changing the way your Wii console is connected to your television. For instance:
    • If the Wii console is connected to a VCR or cable box, try connecting the Wii directly to the TV (how to).
    • If the Wii console is connected to the TV directly, try connecting it to a VCR (how to).
    • If possible, try connecting to another TV.

If any of the above are successful, it is recommended you use the connection that works. If the Virtual Console game still did not display properly after trying different connection types, please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options.

The WiFi connection is not working

  • The Nintendo Wii has a very weak signal concerning internet connections. Try moving your Wii to a TV closer to your router, or try putting your Wii on top of your television. Anything to create a more open/closer path to your router.

I recently moved and am not sure how I re-connect the Wii to the tv. HELP!

Make sure you have the following, Your Wii system, your TV router (The red, yellow, and white plugs), And the charger. When you set up your Wii, Connect the red, white, and yellow plugs to the correct sockets on the side or the back of your TV. Once you do that, Turn on your Wii, Press Input on your tv, And it should bring you to AV2 or something similar, and theres your Wii.

I hav a lg flat screen tv. just brought a wii and the set up screen does not appear. what imput setting am i supposed to use.

You should try them all. Usually, it's a RCA connection for a brand new Wii. The Input channel should be called AV1 or AV2, Depending on the number of inputs you have. The Input channel is usually written near the connection itself.

The Wii powers up, but the TV says that it is unable to detect a signal.

Try making sure your Audio/Video cables are connected to the television and the other end is connected correctly into the Wii. If you have a flat screen, make sure you are on the right Input setting.

Use of AV2 input sound socketsto play ipod

The sound is muted unless a video signal is detected on this TV. The only work around would be to connect the camcorder or some other active video to tha input but using the IPOD for the audio.
