You need administrator privileges on your computer in order to install the Fujifilm software.
You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
You need to Install the driver softer ware on the CD which comes with your camera before you what to load the pictures to your computer. For conveniently, you can use a card reader, and needn't driver.anything help?
if you have a sd card reader, put your card in the reader and then go to my computer, then go to removable disc drive, your reader should come up with all the picts on it
You can't see pictures on the frame while it's connected to the computer. The frame is supposed to say, "PC Connection established..." If you go to My computer and look for your frame as a removable device, you can open it and view the internal memory of the frame. You can see all the pictures on the frame and delete them if you wish.
go to Tools (bottom centre) scroll to #8 -- USB Mass memory device Plug in the "official" cable Ignore the computer's complaint that it can't find the software Press OK on the #8 "connect" option Your phone screen will go blank shortly
Give the computer a moment and it will tell you it's found a new memory device and will show you the contacts. You can copy to and from the memory card -- pictures will be in my_pictures, etc.
When you're finished, press OK to disconnect the phone -- then unplug the cable.
So first you connect the cord to the camera then to the computer tower. Then you Take out the disk.DO NOT LEAVE IT IN!!!!!!! wait for it to load then when it does you'll have to click next, next, then finish. In a few days go to the file you loaded them on. then insert the disk and click burn pictures
I would ask someone like a specialist to see these directions before you proceed
Yes and no... you can not hook it up directly to your computer and burn copies of pix. You can however transfer your pictures to a memory card (SD, MS or CF) and then put that in the VRD-MC5 and burn your pix.
is there a import menu in software to open first to import? try to uninstall software and hook camera up generic to usb and power on camera in playback and see if you can import into my pictures first-then import them into fuji program after reinstalling
