yes, there is another filter which you must clean. turn the water valve off, then remove the cold fill hose from the machine, and there is a small gauze filter in side the vavle from were you removed the hose, using a small pliers, pinch this little filter out, it will be full of limescale, wash it, replace it, put back the cold fill hose, turn water back on and select your programme. you will find that it is now working perfectly.

Hi, It does sound like the inlet valve is bad. If the screen inside the inlet vavle is not plugged, you will most likely need to change the valve. If you will send me a model #. I can tell you how to get to the valve for replacement.
I would remove both water hoses at the back of the washer and check the Hot & Cold inlet screens for a clog/restriction. They look like this;
You can turn the individual valves on in service mode using the procedure on page 16 of the Service Manual. To enter Service Mode; press and hold simultaneously the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or until the control beeps and the display reads “00”. Now go into board output test by pressing the Delicates key. Now press the Normal button to open the Hot Water Valve you can press the Normal button again to turn off the valve or just press the Off button to end the process.Or just use the wash cycle to toggle the H/C water valves on.I like folks to become familiar with using Service Mode and the SM. If the inlet screens are free of debris and you have good water pressure from your source valve then you may have to replace the valve assembly Here is a link to check for FAV6800AW PARTS Sears Parts Direct. soundslike either your cold water supply is not turned on all the way or the inlet valve is clogged w/debris. try removing cold water hose and checkin inside the valve, sometimed youll be able to remove sediment adn debris from valve from screen, if thats not the case youll need to replace the vavle itself
