I did have this problem....I had someone push down on the front of the hood as I pull inside lever....once you get it open..oil the cable.. worked like new after that
If you feel the water may be below the screen also then remove the battery immediately. Also use your hairdryer WITHOUT HEAT please as we do not want to toast the phone. Use it without heat for a few minutes till you can see no water traces on the screen and a little more to ensure that there are no traces of water even inside in those unreachable places. In future protect it with your powers to avoid flodding the phones as these things are very delicate with all the facilities in a small enclosure. And avoid heating them too.
With the heat on, you may have burnt something inside. Whenever you get your phone wet, always remove the battery and SIM immediately and use the hair dryer without heat. Just plain dry cold air. Blow air into it for a very long time to remove all traces of water. Then power on the phone. It may work. You still may have a chance to save your phone. Do blow air through the phone.
Most possible the phone is gone. But for a last try remove off battery and open out the boards. Use a good hair dyer and dry the board without over heating the PCB. If you notice traces of whittish marks, possible water electrolysis, use some petrol dipped in cotton buds to wipe clean all the IC points, Use a thin pin to clean in between the connections for logged dirt. clean out the power supply secction and the antennae section. Once confirmed that there are no traces of moisture replace the boards and switch on. You will be very lucky if this works , if so vote me in.

press on/off (power) switch on ur mobile now remove your battery and reinstall the battery without releasing the on/off switch. repeat this 3-4 time without releasing on/off switch.
