Connect the mp3 player it to the computer with a supplied/correct usb lead, then find the song you want to download using windows explorer as you need to know where the file is located/saved, right click on it then go to send to and the mp3 player should be listed, either as mp3 player or e:/f: - removable disk, chose this and then the song will be sent.

if you need to download songs to your computer in the first place go to limewire, this is a file sharing site which let's you download whatever song you want for free, it's totally legal and because of this site i have over 500 songs, all work perfectly and if you are using broadband only takes 2-3 minutes per song. once you have downloaded the songs you want follow the above instructions.

Hi,
1.What songs are you trying to download on ipod ? If they are video songs then its ok as it consumes larger space than audio because of graphics.
If they are not audio files then
2..Please check your Ipod memory..
3.Check ipod if you have any video file as it consumes larger space.
3.Delete them and try downloading songs... and see.
Hope it helps !!

IPOD Shufle

Generally its difficult to recover songs from a Flash Drive (or ipod/mp3 player).  There is file recovery software available, and generally this will cost. So unless the songs were a bit rare and unique i would recommend that you see if you cant find the songs you lost on the INTERNET. If you already owned the songs, by downloading them you are NOT breaking copyright law. Only the person sharing the file is.

A good place to download songs is from Jamglue.com - (you have to create an account on there to download)

Download iTunes at apple.com/itunes
Go to the iTunes store and register with Apple.
Start Downloading music from iTunes.
The music will be in your iTunes library after downloading the songs.
Plug in your iPod to your computer.
Drag the songs you want on your iPod to the name of your iPod on the left hand column.
The music should be on your iPod.

Need help

1. Have you tried charging your Ipod from another source other than the computer? Maybe a car charger for an Ipod or a kind that can be plugged into the wall. Ipod chargers are very inexpensive.
2. If that doesn't work try rebooting your Ipod with your Ipod program you were given to manage your Ipod.

3. Make sure that when downloading songs that they are Ipod compatible, meaning that they are mp3 ready. Before downloading a song you should be able to see the credentials the song has for downloading. Most of the time if the format cannot be changed to being mp3 ready, most likely the song won't convert to your ipod.
