I have a Lenovo 3000 C200 notebook. I recently updated to Windows 7. Everything seems to be fine except that no sound is going through my microphone (found out when I tried to make a Skype call). I could not find the drivers to reinstall anywhere on the Lenovo website, the only ones they had were for vista.
I downloaded and installed that driver. Now I can hear that it is receiving sound, but it's barely audible. I've checked the Device Manager and the volume is all the way up, not on mute, and I even tried the Mic Boost but nothing has helped.I downloaded and installed that driver. I had the same issue with my G530. I have boosted the microphone to maximum from Control Panel - Sound - Recording - Level. It helped. You may try it too.
