Water spot on outside door

Hi
Our dishwasher is under a month old and there is a water spot/dribble on the outside of the door that won't rub out when we clean with stainless steel wipes.
Is this common and how can I get it to look brand new agin?

You need to clean the stainless steel with good tetergent and hot water to clean the steel
ss wipes do not do much good and only put a film of oil on the surface
once you clean surface with soap and water use a stainless cleaning cloth you can buy from cleaning store
use the with just water and wipe dry
keep the cloth in a plastic bag to keep from drying out

Maytag dishwasher/two months old/packets that came with the dishwasher not disolving/on bottom of dishwasher??

Has this been a problem from the beginning? Is your hot water the correct temperature as specified in your manual? Please check this.

To check whether your dishwasher is heating water, please just feel the outside of the washer when running and notice whether there is steam after the cycle.

Usually one tab goes in the washer itself and a second one in the little dispenser in the door.

Your Dishwasher is still under warranty, so you need to call a Maytag repairman for help if these simple suggestions do not work.

Hidden Gunk in Your Dishwasher

You may be surprised to know you probably have "gunk" around the door seal and on the inside bottom of the door of your dishwasher. Using an old toothbrush or a soft cloth and some white vinegar or a mild cleaning product, rub around the door gasket and the edge of the door. You'll probably be amazed at the residue that you remove. You may have to wipe and wash several times to get off all the accumulation.
The reason this debris accumulates is that the water and soil seep under the seal but are not rinsed away. Because we can't see the soil, it hardens and the next time the machine is run, more soil is deposited. Eventually, the soil begins to spoil and an unpleasant odor develops.
Another trick is to GENTLY rub just under the gasket with a wooden toothpick. This will remove debris lodged under the gasket.
Cleaning the bottom and edges of the door will help to prevent unpleasant odors coming from your dishwasher.

Water is not going into beko dishwasher de2542f .you can hear and feel water going through the pipe but is not going into machine

My BEKO dishwasher is turned off but there is a constant dribble of water running in to the machine. If I open the door when this has happened, it leaks water all over the floor. This means I have to keep turning the machine on to drain the water away.

Leaking from the lower right hand side during rinse cycle.

I had the problem with dribbles of water from the right side lower edge of the door, causing puddles across the floor.
Found there was a RECALL on MDB6000AWW models. The door inside panel was replaced by the dealer for free. No more puddles.

Poor cleaning leaving deposits, dishes feel dirty

The problem for the spots is hard water. There is a new product out at www.dishwasherfilter.com that solves this problem once and for all. It is a small filter that goes under the sink and filters out the hard minerals that cause these spots from the water before they enter the dishwasher. It is very affordable (like 70 bucks) and even has a money back guarantee. After just one load you will be amazed how your dishes look.

Glasses are cloudy and rust spots on cuttlery

I had the same issue until I switched from Cascade to Electrosol. I still use the Cascade rinse solution in the door dispenser. Also use the heated dry option. The energy saving option seems to promote clouding.

Maytag Quiet Series 300 Not drying dishes at all

Hi brookeroy

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your question is your Maytag is less than a year old in a new home. Your folks have a dishwasher either the same or similar and it dries the dishes and doesn't leave water on them. Our dishwasher leaves water on it like the dishwashers from when I was a kid. Lots of water and spots and have to basically prewash all my dishes. It there something I can do or should I try to find all the paperwork?

First try 'jetdry'. Then call for warranty repair. Your d/w should still be under warranty.

2-yr old unit is leaking

I had this problem with similiar model, the extended warranty company was out several times, replaced gaskets and many other parts. Still had the problem. The last tech replaced the upper washing arm that hangs below the upper rack, He said there was a defect where water shoots out between the mfg welded seam and shoots water at the door in the right spot to make it leak. He replaced it and haven't had the problem for about 8 months.
