MY KITCHEN SUPERBA MICROWAVE/CONVECTION OVEN BEEPING IS ANNOYING

I HAVE A KITCHEN SUPERBA MICROWAVE/CONVECTION OVEN WHICH CAME WITH A HOUSE I BOUGHT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS DID NOT LEAVE A USERS MANUAL. EVERYTIME I USE THE MICROWAVE IT BEEPS THREE TIMES WHEN DONE. IF I DON'T HIT CANCEL ON THE KEYPAD, IT WILL CONTINUE TO BEEP THREE TIMES EVERY MINUTE OR SO. IS THERE ANY WAY TO REPROGRAM THE MICROWAVE SO THAT IT AUTOMATICALLY TURNS OFF THE CONTINOUS BEEPING. CAN IT BE PROGRAMMED TO BEEP ONLY ONCE WHEN IT IS FINISHED COOKING?
THANKS.

We are remodelling our kitchen, and are having a hard time deciding
between the Asko and KitchenAid dishwasher models. We are looking at the next to top of the line in each case.

For what it's worth, I love my Kitchenaid. Advantages:
- very quiet
- no central tower, makes loading the lower rack much easier than other
American models I've seen
- porcelin interior (most are plastic, which can pick up odors)
- I could get it with exactly the features I wanted

Sorry, I have the same oven and the same complaint. The manual doesn't indicate anything. BTW- the service manual is inside the oven frame, between oven "lining" and the outside sheet metal.

P.S. Here is a link to the owner's manual for my model:http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/lit... and Care Guide (Micro) - 8304067.pdf

You can visit http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_... and enter your model number (usu. located inside the door) for your user manual.

Beeps for no reason but no error code and oven works fine - a Whirlpool gold double oven

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.

My kitchenaid 30" built in microwave/convection oven beeps all the time. I have to turn the power off to stop the beeping. when i turn the power on the beepeing starts. I am able to use the microwave...

Hi there,

Well is there any error code on the digital display of your Microwave/oven?
Do you mean how to keep it from beeping when you press keys, or is it beeping by itself?
If the microwave oven is coming on or doing anything (beeping) by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.
First of all you cam leave it unplug for half hour, it helps you to reset your microwave/oven. If further you have the same problem please reply to the questions.......

Good Luck!!

Thanks

We installed kitchen aid microwave convection oven model kems308. it is displaying error code F6E0, "Lost communication". Any idea on how to fix?

Turn the power to the oven off. It usually is not possible to unplug the power chord for the built-in appliances so go to the main switch board and just turn off the oven power for about 5 minutes and then turn on the switch. The error code should disappear. Mine did!

Kitchen Aid microwave door -- outer glass

Lisa, I do not have a solution, but have the same problem. My KA superba micro has been used about 10 times. While it was off, and while no one was home, the outer glass in the door shattered. I suspect this may be a defect.
