There are a number of ways to get MP3's. The easiest way is to use W*ndows Media Player. Open Media Player go to the menu at the top, if you do not see -these menu names, (File, View, Play, Tools, Help). Right click on the top border and chose -> View -> classic menu's -- that will show the these menu's. Now go to -> Tool's -> options, look for the Rip Music tab and look for the format option --->chose MP3. Now, up top, of the Rip Music tab is a save folder option and you can chose which folder you want to save your music in. Then at the bottom is a slider bar that lets you chose how good a MP3 you get after it is ripped. The lower the number the smaller the file and lower quality it will be. A good setting is 96 to 120, inbetween in there will be good file size and good sound quality. Now you have the option to rip when a CD is put in the bay or not, that is a personal preference, so that is up to you. Now click ok and close the Media Player. Now put in a music CD that you want to rip and if you choosed to have it rip whan a cd was inserted it will open and start to rip your music. Then hook up your MP3 player and go to, My Computer icon -> right click it ---->and chose explore go to the -> C:\ drive or folder tree and find the folder you put your ripped music into. Right click your music folder and click copy, now go to your player folder tree choose paste putting your MP3's in the players Music folder. Now if you want to download MP3's from the net. It will depend on which Browser you use. Any MP3's you download from the net comes with a license that has to go with the MP3 that you bought. I just by a CD and rip it No worries for a license. You can Use other software to rip music such as itunes, realplayer among others. But W*ndows comes with Media Player and it is a easy upgrade to ver 10 or 11 if you do not have it, and It is free. Hope this helps.

Drm won't install in rhapsody

Rhapsody will not work on an iPhone unless you jailbreak (which is not advisable). Apple wants you to use iPhone. You can use music you bought from Rhapsody and import it to your iTunes and then sync.

How to remove DRM from Rhapsody, Amazon Unbox

"I am thinking about subscribing to rhapsody because they have unlimited downloads for a monthly payment. Then I found that those music and videos are DRM protected so they wont work with my ipod. But can I remove DRM from Rhapsody? If it is ok what is the best DRM remover/converter?"

Also, Amazon Unbox, which was rebranded as "Amazon Video on Demand", only play in desktop applications that support Windows Media DRM, thereby excluding devices such as iPod or Zune. Then, how to remove DRM from Amazon Unbox files and enjoy them on other player?

Have you met situations like these? If yes, here is a detailed tutorial about removing DRM from online music provider, such as Rhapsody and Amazon Unbox.

To remove drm from Rhapsody, Amazon Unbox, the methods of removing Rhapsody DRM listed below:

1: Remove DRM from Rhapsody, Amazon Unbox for free.

CD burning and ripping
First, insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your drive, and burn your playlist onto the CD. Then have the other media player import the songs off the CD and save them . When the music is imported off the CD, they are no longer DRM protected.

It is the most commonly known method. But it is costly (waste CDs) and time consuming, especially when you have a lot of music.

2: Remove DRM from Rhapsody, Amazon Unbox using Wondershare Media converter.

Using software to remove DRM from Rhapsody is much easier and quicker. As far as I know, wondershare media converter was one kind of this. After giving a test for some free trials I found it is a good Rhapsody DRM removal software with high output quality, professional, and easy of use.

To remove DRM from Rhapsody, Amazon Unbox , what you need to is just the 3 easy steps:
1. add DRM protected music and video to it. You can preview your files by double-click it.
2. Choose output format. You can reset the output path too.
3. After that, the only thing you need to operate is just click the start button, and the converting process is starting. After converting, the files are DRM-ripped.

After you get the output music and video files converted from the Rhapsody or Amazon Unbox playlist, you can now begin to transfer the files to your iPod, iPhone, Zune, etc.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Music transfer

Here is what is going on. All iTunes songs are in AAC format. The Insignia Pilot cannot read thos files, and the Rhapsody music service cannot read them either. You will need to redownload all of the songs that you want in Rhapsody itself. If you do not want to pay the monthly fees, then I would not download any songs from Rhapsody - they will cease to work after your Rhapsody subscription expires.

You have a couple of options. You could buy an AAC to Mp3 Converter software - this is not free, as far as I know - you also want to be careful, because some sites that advertise these products are scam artists - they don't let you try the product before buying.

Another option is to get Limewire or Morpheus - the free versions of thse services run extremely slow and give you a lot of ads, but they allow you to download Mp3 format songs for free without monthly fees.

Mp3 players just aren't as easy as they used to be.

Vista not compatible with rhapsody.

I use Rhapsody with Vista. You need to go to Rhapsody's website (or Best Buy Digital Music Store, which runs the same software) and download the updated version, which will work just fine.

Purchased music from iTunes can be put on Sansa players as well when you set-up Rhapsody to manage your music. Have the program detect your music library and then all you have to do is drag and drop to your MP3 player.

Use rhapsody for the trial period and now My SanDisk Sansa e200 won't acknowledge any downloads on my e200 since I didn't sign up for rhapsody. How can I get my e200 to allow download from somewhere other...

If you didnt delete the music from your trial subscription with Rhapsody, they are still on the device, taking up space. Your device will allow any type of music to be transferred, it doesnt have to be specifically from Rhapsody. Best idea is to "format" the device to remove everything and try transferring the music onto the device. Connect the device and go to My Computer>Device Name, then right click on the device and select format. This will erase everything. If you are not able to format the device, change the mode, then try again. Device>Settings>mode or USB Mode. Reply if you have more problems. Best of Luck.
