My sidekick 3 i can here people but people can't here me
I bought this phone on ebay and when i got it the first time i tried i could talk and here but then i unpluged it i could here people but people can't here me. Why

press menu + L at the same time to bypass this screen. This will continue to come up every time you start the phone. by default, it wasn't the t-mobile sidekick data plan and always searches for it on start up
Oooh, bad news. You probably got a sidekick 3 that had a bad charging port. Return for a refund if you can.
the Sidekick 3 has a charging issue thatcrops
up after awhile. It will just not charge the battery.A good way to tell
is if the orange light comes on but the phone never charges.
You
can get an external battery charger for the sidekick for about 25
dollars that will allow you to charge the sidekick 3 battery separate.

If you bought it from a retailer the code is either all zero's, or the last 4 of the phone number. If you bought it off of eBay, go to T-Mobile and they'll do it for you
I had the same problem with the sidekick i bought off of ebay , when you cal customer care just tell them you got it off ebay and you need the old users information deleted, they will give you step by step instructions on how to do so. Remember to not call on your sidekick becasue you will have to restart the phone.
try turning it on and typing 1234 it should work it worked for me and if that doesnt work try goin to a cell phone repair shop they should be able to unlock it. if not get your money back for the phone and buy one at the tmobile store. some stuff on ebay doesnt work i bought an ipod off ebay and it broke the next day it broke so try gettin your money back if nutin else works!
Sounds like you unit is not charging. The Sidekicks are notorious for that. If you have a friend that has a sidekick ID or Sidekick 3, see if you can try their battery to make sure you phone is working.
If not, your best option is to get an external charger that has a spare battery slot That way you can charge the battery outside the phone! They run about 25-30 dollars on ebay and since you have an extra battery you can have one charging all of the time!
Usually they don't sell each key by itself but you can always find another Sidekick 3 and pop the "X" key off of that phone and put it on yours. Hope this helps. =)
