I plug my camera into the computer and copy the pictures onto my hard drive and flash drives. Then I can use whatever program I like to edit, download, print ect. I have found that photo printers are pretty finicky.
Are you plugging your camera into the computer? If so, try this instead: a)Ensure the camera is off. b)Remove the memory card from the camera. c)Insert the memory card in a card reader (either part of your PC/laptop, or plugged into the PC's USB port d)The PC should see the memory card as a hard drive. Select my computer, open the "drive" that is your memory card, and then you should be able to drag & drop (or copy & paste) the video clips to the hard drive on your PC. e) Click on the "safely remove hardware" icon in your PC task tray. f) remove the memory card from the card reader.
Took a bit to find this this bad news in the manual but what happens now is to get the pictures from the internal memory to the computer as a down load you need to first insert a memory card format the memory card and load each picture from the internal memory onto the memory card one at a time once that is down then you can download the memory card to the computer then you will need to reformat the memory card and then go back into the internal memory erase each one of those images and format the internal memory. Now the GOOD news, you only have 10 pictures. Don't forget to do the formatting.
Plug your camera into your computer with the USB Cable that came with the camera. If you don't have one, take the cam to Best Buy and buy a cable. Windows will automatically download your pictures.
Tough the picture frame states 1000 photos, it really depends on the size of the picture. To resolve this purchase a 2 or 4 gb memory card and download your pictures onto the card. You can insert the card in the slot of the picture frame and then connect to your computer and download your pics from your computer directly onto the memory card.
SCMG - You won't be inserting it into your modem. But if the card fits snuggly and it seems to fit right, then you're probably where you need to be.
For all of you - it may be easier to connect the camera directly to the computer to download the pictures. All cameras come with the appropriate cable to connect the camera to a USB port. All you need to do is make the connection and then put the camera into "review" mode to view the pictures and Windows should automatically see the camera and ask if you want to download the pictures off of it.
