AKAI 42inch plasma TV has a green color leeking or pixelating into the picture. this happens on all inputs including component and VGA as well as the cable.
Brand new tv an I am wondering if there is a way to tune it .
I had the same problem and solved it with a factory reset. hold menu button dowm for 10 seconds and it will alow you to reset all the colors.
We had rainbow pixels flashing around foreheads and other areas of the picture. We sent it in for warranty repair and they replaced the main board, the video board, and the power supply and it was still doing it. Called the warranty center and they sent us another model and that one lost the picture. Called again and they sent us still another model that finally worked. We ended up with 3 TVs, one with flashing pixels, one with no picture, and one that worked great.
Update, I just read these posts and did the factory reset with the menu button and now I have 2 perfectly good, working TVs - for the price of 1, Unbelievable.
NO. Return for exchange. Green and Red Dots are Common with Akai/Viore. Google Viore 42 plasma and read. Same Company = Same TV = Same Problems
Try doing factory reset once see if they have firmware update u can do also via thunbdrive

picture has sploches of green in randum spots mainly in bright area TV is just a little over 1 year old
i have the same problem, except its with red, blue, and yellow, it is very noticeable on white and light colors such as peoples faces
