My mp3 player is not working after 3 days of using it

It started to turn off by its self then it just stop working and for the past 3 4 days i tride to turn it on what should i do

Same Problem,First it was dead, no response, no connection to my pc either, then I held down the power up button like you said for 30 seconds, then flicked it on!!! It worked. I hooked it up to my pc immediately and now it is charging up!!!! Yeah!!! thank you! misty I think the battery was super dead,anyway all's well that ends well!!!

Hi, try replace the battery and if it doesn't still power on, it means it is hardware problem, you need to get to a technician to help fix the problem.

You can repair your player using Philips Device Manager on the PC.
The procedure that you should activate is the repair function.
NOTE: After this action the contents will be removed by using the repair function!
The recovery key is the BACK key on your player.

Sansa Express Won't Start Up
Try this: First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.

The rechargable battery is dead, and unless you can replace it, you have a useless paperweight. Generally, when the battery is fully discharged it comes up with the missing STM3500 message. When it recharges in the usb port, the message will go away after uninstalling the MP3 player. When it won't recharge, it is gone without a new battery.

Try charging it, if this doesn't work then try restoring the device (if you can get it to turn on) if this doesnt work then try the Philips support site, you can email them your problem and they should reply within 3 days. Weedy
