One red light on elite

Ive got a xbox 360 elite the third bit as gone red say e73 i have had the xbox just over 2 years

Extended MS does not cover E73, so they won't fix for free :-(

The E73 error though is the NIC error (network), so usually shows a problem with the internet connection port, but can also be a problem with the motherboard. I have fixed the E73 issue in x360 units before, but that tends to be an error that's a real pain to sort.

Even once fixed, it usually comes back, it's really unlike any other E code error in that respect. Your cheapest option is just to get an HDMI white base unit on eBay (with no cables or anything) then just swap the white case for your black one, then sell yours on for spare parts.

Two red lights flashing on my xbox 360 elite .how 2 fix problem with out sending it back 4 warrenty.my warrenty expired......
Ive herd of this silly thing to try.. to fix red lights sounds stupid but ive looked into it, Basicly you xbox gets so bloody hot it resets itself lol...
So get 4 towels and wrap you xbox 360 in them until ti overheats then leave it for 30 mins then turn it on... And if it works please send me a message!!

yes plenty of ways to fix it try youtube and if ur really desperate to fix it then go to ebay and buy one of theyre cheap xbox 360 red ring of death fix kits ive never tried one but whatever works

3 red lights ive had the xbox 360 for 18 months now will it stil be under warranty did not take the extra cover out only got 1 year with it but ive heard that microsoft are guarrenteed for 3 years with...
you can fix it yourself but you need to know what your doing altho it is actually quite easy to do, but yes u are correct if your console has 3 red flashing lights the warranty is 3 years but only for that error, so your in luck send it back to Microsoft and they will ship a new one to u, usually takes around a week

sorry to say but you could try new av cables, or get another xbox.. preferably an xbox 360 elite to save you from red rings.. you will have to get that fixed.. if you havent had the 360 long, you might get it fixed free from microsoft.. they can find out for you 18004myxbox. i got tired off all these red ring problems and noticed the elite version is a bit more dependable.

hi if your lights are blinking red its called the ring of death now if u got the xbox 360 elite it can some times fix its self but on the older xboxs you will find sometimes they can do the same but if this does not go back to how it was befor u may have to take it back to where u got it from and get them to either give you a new one or they will have to send it of to get it fixed ive had this problem with 4 elites now so i know whats goin on i have had 4 new elites in 6 weeks so i no what your going though buddy so i hope this works for you m8

yes m8 that is called the ring of death now if you got the xbox elite it can sometimes fix its self but if it dont you will have to take it back to where you got it from and tell them what has happed they will either give you a new one or they will send it of to get fixed but will cost you i cant say how much becouse i have always been insured but ive had this problem 4 times now in 6 weeks i have had 4 new xbox elites and they have all done them same gave me the ring of death(3 red lights) so your better of taking it back and telling them m8
