It sounds like a high voltage loss such as a flyback transformer or high voltage splitter. No quick fix.

WHAT ISTHAT WHEN MY TV MAKE NOISES THEN STOP FOR AMINUTE ONCE THE PICTURE IS THER THEN 10 MINUTES IS CUTOFF LIKE ITS TRYING TO COME BACK ON WITH THE SAME NOISES

there is a switch on the back of the tv that has internal and external speakers slection i would check that especialy if you have hooked up any new componants

tv worked great, turned it off one day and back on the next and the on light would not come on nor would the tv work, rear projection 52 inch rca

unplug the TV for 4 hrs. and let it reset to factory settings and then start from there scan for channel line up in the menu.

The TV was working fine, some time during the night the power went out, its plugged into a surge protector, everything else works fine, the TV won't turn on, the fuse is fine, is there a reset switch?
