Instruction manuel for ge cordless phone 27995ge1-a

I need to find out how to access my messages from a remote phone. I cannot find my instruction manuel.

Our base phone is hung up on searching. It has not dial tone. It just says "searching..." How do we fix it?

Try looking on the back of the answeing machine, sometimes there is a sticker with the remote message instructions

Newer phones don't have the battery problems of old. Just to be safe I would leave the phone off the charger after the first call. Put it on the charger when you go to bed.
