My Boekamp quartz heater model 101 needs a replacement of 1 of its heating elements.

Replacement quartz elements are available for many heaters of the type so if you can't source a replacement as a spare part for your heater, perhaps by an internet search, you might be able to find one of the correct dimensions and wattage on ebay or Amazon.

The general advice is to remove the old element first in order to measure it.

My fostoria spacer stop producing heat model 1520 3A. Smell a burn odor fan still works. Sounds different too. can you help? Dennis

Your electric space heater works by using a quartz infrared element, something that can eventually burn out due to use/defects. To fix your space heater, you will have to get another element specific to your model fostoria. While I did a quick search online, I could not find any matches to a replacement, but you can still call the company for one. Before calling, though, check to see if your heater is still under warranty, probably 1 to 2 years. The number for fostoria is 1-800-495-4525. Best of luck.

Marvin Quartz heater element

Very simple to install the replacement element. Insert one end of the element into the bottom receptacle on either side, press the element down (it's spring-loaded), then slide the top of the element into the center opening of the top receptacle, push to appropriate side (the side of receptacle, same as the bottom), then release. Then do the same with the other element (if both are out).
