Mitsubishi color problem

1. "wavy" may mean a signal problem inside the set--are you seeing colors out of position or skewed around letters etc?

2. Does it do it when a DVD is played? (this will rule out certain things).

This is the most common problem for rear projection tvs and it is known as the color convergence problem.You will need to replace or repair its ics to solve it.

When it shuts off and the green power light goes off, press both the menu and input buttons on the front of the set (not the remote) and hold both for about five seconds and release.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks and then 3 blinks and repeat it several times.

What is the error code?

It's a board in the chassis. Time for a visit to/from the good TV doctor.

tv is in shut down.could be several things.call a repairman.

Try resetting the TV and any BOX by unplugging both for @ to 5 minutes then plug back in.

Your TV's color wheel is bad. Call an authorized service dealer to repair this. It's not an easy job.

I turned the set on and everything was fine, then the screen went black and mullti-colored horizontal (arched) lines were flashing across the screen. The next day I turned the set on and everything was fine for about 5 minutes then the problem reoccures again. Haven't looked for solutions till now.

Your problem most likely is on the signal board is my guess. If your not a technician it would be in your best interest to have him check L2C60 on the signal board.
