    You don't specify what kind of files you want to open, what are they supposed to contain. You have to be more specific. XML is a file structure name. XML-type files are used for thousands of different purposes, and I can assure you, that they are used in your system as well. Saying that you can't use XML files is like saying that you can't use plastic bags, when in reality you mean that you can't find a small plastic bag that contained a warranty card for your DVD player for example...

Setup cannot find proplus.ww owow64ww.cab

How to fix - Setup cannot find ProPlus.WW\ProPsWW2.cab

When you receive the error "Setup cannot find ProPlus.WW\ProPsWW2.cab" it might mean the MD5 checksum the install was expecting and the one on the actual file do not match. Here's how I fixed the issue.
First let me explain in simple terms what the MD5 is. MD5 is an algorithm that is used to verify data integrity. If anything in the file changes the MD5 will also change so it's a way for the program to check the integrity of the file.

The MD5 file is kept in the setup file of the proplus.ww folder. Open it with notepad and find the section that looks similar to the following **the numbers after "MD5 =" is what you need to be concerned with. Also remember that your numbers may differ. **

<LocalCache DownloadCode="{90140000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}" SkuComponentDirectory="ProPlus.WW">
<File Id="Office64WW.xml" MD5="899A7D743D01852EBD036B465D1EF181" Size="4685" RelativeCachePath="Office64WW.xml" RelativeSourcePath="Office64WW.xml"/>
<File Id="Office64WW.msi" MD5="43B44C38BE513D9589ECAC7129DDC7C3" Size="3025408" RelativeCachePath="Office64WW.msi" RelativeSourcePath="Office64WW.msi"/>
<File Id="OWOW64WW.cab" MD5="E1E97F01F4292B89953204557A043C7D" Size="23865400" RelativeCachePath="OWOW64WW.cab" RelativeSourcePath="OWOW64WW.cab"/>
<File Id="ProPlusWW.xml" MD5="146CA2B8E1559F81E8DF6A3AED949E2A" Size="17252" RelativeCachePath="ProPlusWW.xml" RelativeSourcePath="ProPlusWW.xml"/>
<File Id="ProPlusWW.msi" MD5="F7DCCD578605F72AEEED775C9EB40AB8" Size="24809472" RelativeCachePath="ProPlusWW.msi" RelativeSourcePath="ProPlusWW.msi"/>
<File Id="ProPsWW.cab" MD5="3EA469E81A6064AE4BEFE4A9ACF36A9D" Size="149278843" RelativeCachePath="ProPsWW.cab" RelativeSourcePath="ProPsWW.cab"/>
<File Id="ProPsWW2.cab" MD5="86BEB0B6A2E76E95E580615185C06B04" Size="197934115" RelativeCachePath="ProPsWW2.cab" RelativeSourcePath="ProPsWW2.cab"/>
<File Id="setup.exe" MD5="4D92F518527353C0DB88A70FDDCFD390" Size="1100664" RelativeCachePath="setup.exe" RelativeSourcePath="..\setup.exe"/>
<File Id="osetup.dll" MD5="FCC38158C5D62A39E1BA79A29D532240" Size="5789544" RelativeCachePath="osetup.dll" RelativeSourcePath="osetup.dll"/>
<File Id="ose.exe" MD5="9D10F99A6712E28F8ACD5641E3A7EA6B" Size="149352" RelativeCachePath="ose.exe" RelativeSourcePath="ose.exe"/>
<File Id="pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms" MD5="3DCFF1DCDEB1B837EC8F13351C8A92AC" Size="715834" RelativeCachePath="pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms" RelativeSourcePath="pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms"/>
<File Id="PidGenX.dll" MD5="7F120AAD20ECAE1EA421083F26611519" Size="1248016" RelativeCachePath="PidGenX.dll" RelativeSourcePath="PidGenX.dll"/>
<File Id="Setup.xml" MD5="" Size="" RelativeCachePath="Setup.xml" RelativeSourcePath="Setup.xml"/>
</LocalCache>
Next you will need to download and install an MD5 checker. I'll leave the process of how to use the MD5 to you to learn but it's pretty simple.

Next run the MD5 checker on the file/s that produce the errors during install. *there may be more than one*

Now there are 2 ways to work around this - If the MD5 on the checker did not match the MD5 in the file it probably means the file is corrupted so your best bet is to download the software again or get another disk.

Another less recommended way is to copy/paste the MD5 from the checker into the file (remember to make a backup of your setup file before) then save it and run the install again. This fools the installation process into verifying that your installation files are all OK.

Good luck!!

An incredibly popular file format, mainly for programmers, is XML, which is not handled natively by Chrome... not sure why. <br /> A simple solution to this problem is to load a great Chrome Extension called 'XML Tree.' Is there any opportunity to open a docx file with microsoft word 2003?

Hi, there are many way to do so. Following are few online and offline methods/workarounds to read the content of docx format files.1. Open docx with Older version of Office -If you already have older version of Microsoft Office, then you only need to install compatibility pack over existing install. After this install you will able to read docx files in pre-existing Microsoft Office install - download Microsoft Compatibility Pack
2. Compatibility with Open Office -If you have Open Office installed on your computer, then you need to install Open XML Translator to able to read docx files - download Open XML Translator
3. No Software install, convert files to doc format online -I found this method best to able to read docx files without hassles of installing any software. There are number of online tools to convert docx format into doc.
4. Solution for Office installed on Mac - For MS Office install on Macintosh system you need to install Microsoft Office Open XML File Format Converter for Mac - download Open XML File Format Converter
5. Desktop Widget -The Docx-converter Dashboard Widget allows you to convert files right from your Desktop. Simply drag the .docx file you want to convert into the drop area of the widget and the widget will automatically convert the file and save it to the location of the original file - download desktop widget

I cant find hpc20155.xml

This is direct from the HP website. some files were renamed... it works!
ISSUE: During the LaserJet P2015 Series USB installation, the following error message is displayed: 'hpc20155.xml' on HP LaserJet P2015 Series CD is needed SOLUTION: The HP LaserJet P2015 EWS driver on Microsoft Windows Update and Windows Market Place Web sites is newer than the driver that is included on the product CD that shipped with the printer. Because of this. the Microsoft Windows (Found New Hardware Wizard) will install the driver from the web. Some file names are inconsistent between driver version 1.0.0.12 and version 1.0.0.10, including the hpc20155.xml file, hence the attempt for the driver to search for the hpc20155.xml file will fail, and prompts the error message. To resolve this issue perform the following:
  1. Click the Browse button on the error message.
  2. Browse through the CD to Drivers -> windows 2000_XP .
  3. Select the file hppcp504.cab , and click OK .
  4. The error message "The Software that you are trying to install has not passed the windows Logo Test " appears. Click Continue Anyway .
  5. If the error message "hpc20155.xml on HP LaserJet P2015 Series CD is needed " appears again, follow steps 1-3.
  6. The required files are copied, and the driver is installed and ready to use.
If the issue still persists then perform the following in the order listed before trying to reinstall the software.
  1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Windows Update.
  2. Set the option to Never search Windows Update for drivers .
NOTE: It is important to re-enable the Windows Update function after installing the printer software, otherwise the updates for all the other software on this computer will be blocked. After disabling Windows Update, complete the following steps. Be sure to reenable Windows update after installing the software:
  1. Disconnect the USB cable and remove the device listing from Device Manager
  2. Go to Start ->All programs ->HP ->P2015 ->Uninstall , "OR" Go to Add & Remove and check for the P2015 and uninstall .
  3. Then go to Printer & Faxes . Select the HP LJ P2015 icon and press the Delete button on the keyboard. After deleting the printer icon, go to File and Server properties . Go to Drivers tab and remove any P2015 drivers if listed.
  4. Also delete the following files/ folders C:\program files\HP\toolbox Fx or P2015 C:\documents & settings\app data\tool box Fx
  5. Run the scrubber.exe . Find this on the cd X:\utils\ccc\scrubber.exe & scrubber.ini NOTE: The Scrubber utility can also be downloaded from the web if the original installation CD is not available. However, it is only available as part of the full software installation package named hp_LJ_P2015_Full_Solution_AMWE.exe on hp.com . Once the files are extracted to a folder just open the util folder then the ccc folder and the scrubber.exe file will be visible.
  6. Paste these files at the following path and run the scrubber.exe C:\windows\system32\
  7. Empty the recycle bin
  8. Turn the printer back on.
  9. Now install the printer software again. Connect the communication cable to the PC and printer when prompted during the installation.

Unable to install ms office 2007, upgrading from Office 2003

Hi,
please first uninstall all the existing versions of MS Office. Then try to clean temporary files, cache and registry using tools like cCleaner (freely availavle), then install MS Office.

if you want to install only MS Office 2007, no need to install MS office 2003 and upgrade. directly install MS Office 2007.

If you want to keep both, pleas install MS office 2003 first, then MS office 2007, please dont uograde it, rather select Keep both version.

Please make sure that you have admin permission before doing all this and your system is free from any virus.
Thanks
