PS 2 slimline new version-games sticking and buzzing

Hello,
There may be 2 reasons..

1. Installation problem.. Try uninstalling the game and reinstall again..

2. Your game require a graphic card. make sure your pc is having one. and make sure your pc meet all the minimum requirements to play the fifa 08 game..

• Operating Systems: Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows Vista (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT 4.0 are not supported)
• Processor: 1.3 GHz
• RAM: 512 MB
• Video Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible 3D accelerated 64 MB video card or equivalent . Here’s the list of supported chipsets

try cleaning your lens if that doesn't work replace the lens with a new one

Hey there that is because Pal will only play PAL as it is part of the region coding..

Once I was looking for a guide for PS2 but all it had was a spanish version. I had to pull the xbox version, which is close enough to give me the help needed.

Man I am facing the same problem. I today got my PS2 moded and all the three games I bought from palika are getting hanged.

Please help..I only know how I saved my pocket money to get ma PS2 and not it all is in vain...please any one who can be of help..!!!!!!

check the game box to see if you can play two players or even online

Sir, you probably have been playing this game for a long time or u might have mishandled it,that might have cause a portion of data on disc to be erased.You might see the scratches on disc your self.....the scratches on disc cause usually the same problem i,e some time game works fine but sometimes it wont work.....you chould consider buying new Disc of FIFA 08......the problem can also be with your lens get your lens cleaned by some lens cleaning CD or do it yourself (you'll just need one screw driver) carefully with a piece of clothe or tissue without touching the lens....Hope that might solve your problem

Buy a new one. I try all thwe solutins you can bring up. none work except a new game!!!

Clean the LAsers Lens with Q-tip lightly dampened with Glass cleaner, then dry the lens. Try it see if that gets it going again.

If not your lasers lens and supporting frame is probably melting down. You will need a new laser.
Click on "repair directory" at the bottom of this screen. Then click on "Video Game consoles" Pick a good repair shop.

Make sure there is no dust or things on the lazer.
