the same thing happened to me over the weekend and it's annoying that there's no information at all about anything.
I can't figure out what's wrong and your description is EXACTLY what happened to me. One moment everything was great - the next it's dead.

Check your memory card alignment and if its properly seated. If its a loose contact, your phone will definitely restart.

This is a hardware issue and there are no home remedies.Physical presence of a tech is required to fix your issue.You will have to get this repaired from samsung if it is under warranty or else they might charge you a small fee to fix this.

i had this problem and it turns out i was transfering the music onto the phone wrong my phone was set to mass storage when it should have been set to samsung pc studio after i changed the setting my problem was solved hope this helps

yes the particular hardware which charges the battery of cell is bad, also go to samsung service centre then try  to change the battery, and definitely it will work.
