I have a Mitsubishi 50" Big Screen Model VS-50707. When trying to turn it on, it blinks once and clicks, then doesn't turn on. It has been doing this for a while, but eventually would come on and need some time to warm up for the picture to be clear. Now it will not turn on at all. Thoughts?

The picture tubes are warn out or the deflection circuit is failing. The power supply is struggling to fire them up. Takes a lot of power.
Some TV shops have the know how to replace the tubes. About $1000 parts and labor.

Mitsubishi VS-50707 shuts down sporadically
you can do a self-diagnosis test by pressing the menu and input/device button on set for 5 sec and see what error code it gives you. Count the blinks followed by a short pause then more blinks. This is the error code.

VS 50707 turns on, then off immediately
on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
