The keys on the slider don't work properly. I press them but nothing happens. So the arrow keys and two side buttons (call and hangup) don't work. Also, when I slide the phone shut, the white lights on the top of the phone stay on.

1. press buttons Set, Menu, Mono Start one by one, followed by up arrow key four times. this should all be done as short a time as possible, around 3 seconds.

2. enter maintenance mode 80 by pressing the up/down arrow key and set key to select numbers 8 and 0

3. press up arrow key several times to get to the Purge item

4. enter 2, 7, 8 and 3 using arrow/set keys to reset the counter

5. press Stop/Exit key to go to root of maintenance mode

6. enter 9,9 to exit maintenance mode

I just unlock mine PD7012/37 today, I think you can use de same sequence:
1- Power on without dvd;
2- In SKIP button, right side of SETUP, press "RIGHT", "LEFT", "RIGHT", "LEFT", "RIGHT", "RIGHT", "LET";
3- Will appear a menu, go to REGION using "UP" navigate button, and press OK, select "TEST 0" using navigate button and press OK.
4- Press STOP;
5- Enjoy.

If this happens, just turn off the printer plug,then hold the reset\stop button,after that you turn on the plug while pressing the stop reset button, then follow these steps:

To reset waste ink counter:
-Press Menu-Scan-Copy-Scan to enter service menu.
-Use arrow keys to scroll to "Service menu counter access".
-Press OK.
-Use arrow keys to scroll to "ABS-M DOT COUNT"
-Press Copy.
-Use arrow keys to reset count to zero.
-Press OK.
-Press Stop/Reset.

To clean physical pads (optional):
-Open cover (as if replacing ink cartridge).
-Locate waste ink pads, they are far right under cartridge slider.
-Pry up waste ink pads (inky, might want to wear gloves).
-Rinse pads in sink or with alcohol, dry.
-Replace pads. Make sure pads are fully seated.

get some text i n there
Block copy and paste
or hold the shiftkey down and use the right or left arrow curse to block
Hold down the shift ke amd delethold down the shift key and insert

TRY HARD RESET

1) Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clear->1234->ok

2)Press soft-reset for 15sec.

3)Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset

check your memory... delete texts and/or pictures to free up some memory if it is badly depleted. (Try to keep 20% free to funciton smoothly)

2. press 'Setup' button, bottom left (next to down arrow button) to display menus

3. 'Down' arrow 2x to Preferences menu

4. press 'Play' > button, center of arrow buttons, to select Preferences menu

5. press numbers: '2,5,3,1,3,5'

6. 'Left' arrow < button

7. 'Down' arrow button

8. you should now see REGION CODE 1 or similar

9. Press '10/0' button for all region, or whatever region you want

10. Press 'Play' > button again

11. Press 'Setup' button to exit menus.

Try the ALT key and the Up Arrow.
If that does not work, try CRT ALT UP and DOWN arrows till you can rotate your display.
