On the hard drive there is always information abt.the hard drive so i will advice you to setup the hard drive manually and if symptoms still persist a new hard drive will hav to come in

What is printed on the labels on the top of each disk?
What is the model-number?
Do a GOOGLE-search on that model-number, to see what others have written about that model,
including the "specifications".
as I stated in my first thread , no firmware or drivers needed for internal HDD , and remember Windows uses an allocated partition of 8 gigabytes for the OS which will only leave 5 gigabytes left on a 13 gigabyte HDD , and for solid state HDD , the only difference is solid state has no moving parts , there are trying to impress us with technology that is over 35 yrs old like a calculator other than its buttons its solid state

Hi there check that the drive is found in the bios setting press del. as the computer boots. this will take you to bios you need to check that the HDD is found there first if so then once at a:\ type c:\ then press enter this will access the c:
The specifications to enter the information manually, are on top of the harddrive. Kind of hard to discern, huh? That's because harddrive sizes from 6.4GB through 20.4GB are listed on top. C/H/S = Cylinders/Heads/Sectors The Quantum Fireball CX10A011 hardrive is a 10.2GB harddrive. You will see -> C/H/S....10.2 - 16383/16/63 on top.
That is , 16,383 Cylinders 16 Heads 63 Sectors
