You won't find a new one cheaper so if it's too much just go to the local computer repair shop, they might have one, recovered from a dead laptop.

yes ...all 510 series have ...including the 517te ...if you do not find it in device manager ..go to bios and set it to optimal factory defaults ..and it will appear without driver (if it isnt installed yet) in device manager or will prompt you that it found new hardware ..

choose the operation system and download...there are 3 available wifi models for this laptop..probably the driver will be one of them ..

Hi there, NPS is samsungs pc studio which you can download from samsung fun club page. You should have had a cd with your phone with it on.
Or you can download NPS here:
SAMSUNG New PC Studio,PC Sync (ver.1.0)

Additionally:
You can also connect your phone to the pc and select mass storage instead of pc studio when prompted.
You can then drag and drop music/videos/pics direct to your phone without bothering to download nps. But with nps you can store your contacts/messages/pics and vids on your pc.

actuallyy u downlowdin from a cd thats u get with u mobile fone and the nps is NEW PC STUDIO install it first then intall USB DRIVER

There may be other screws hidden behind plastic concealing covers.
The front bezel can have retaining clips that clip that lock onto the lid and may also held in place with double sided tape.
Use a thin flat blade (careful not to scratch the LCD screen) and slip it between the bezel and the LCD screen and gently prize it away from the screen. Start at the bottom of the screen near the hinges and work along each edge.
The inverter will be located on the bottom edge of the screen between the hinges.

Go to the acer website - acerpanam.com and download ALL available drivers and acer software for your laptop. If still no good, look in device manager for devices with exclamation marks on them and try to update drivers, or maybe try disabling exclamated devices to fix the errors. get the software first though.

If you clear the cmos you are just loading the defalt bios settings but not solving the problem.
In this case you dont have to clear the cmos but instead replace the cmos battery.

This is probably becuase you are trying to use two masters in the same cable...Set the HDD to CS(cable select mode)..and it will detect automatically
