Garmin 1350 frozen at loading map step. I already tried to run the hard reset (pressing the bottom right ), removed the battery for 20 minute with unsuccessful results. As I tried to reset the nevi I got...

The reason why the PC wont recognize the Nuvi is because you have to reach the main menu before the Nuvi can access the subroutines for USB to PC communications. Since it is stuck in the boot mode, it never reaches the main menu. Your problem is usually caused by a failed map or firmware upgrade. It can also be caused by a corrupted internal flash drive. The unit must be flashed with a service firmware that forces the unit to boot right to the flash drive, so that the corrupted files can be replaced. We have done this hundreds of times. Once the files are replaced, the unit can then be flashed with the factory standard firmware. More info can be found here:

Psp green light on, but no booting or anything. its not a fault of Software... its Hardware for Sure! any help?

Hello

If the green light comes on, but the unit won't power up, you could have a battery problem.

Clean out the battery compartment. Use a can of compressed air to remove dust, hair and other debris. If you left the battery in while you stored the unit, look around the connectors for any sign of corrosion that could be affecting the connection.

Plug the PSP into the power adapter with the battery still inside. If this doesn't work, remove the battery and see if the PSP powers on with the adapter only. If it does, then the battery likely needs to be replaced.

Boot the unit in recovery mode. The PlayStation Portable is like a small computer with a tiny hard drive. And just like a computer, sometimes it gets scrambled; booting in recovery mode can help you identify or correct the problem.

Determine if your PSP has been "bricked." If the PSP was turned off for any reason during a firmware update, it can cause "bricking," so named because it renders your PSP into a useless, plastic brick. Buying a new PSP or sending yours to Sony for repair are your only options if this has occurred.

My 2nd Gen Ipod Touch is giving me code 20 when I am trying to downgrade the firmware. I have the white screen of death, and I have found a lot of troubleshooting saying that it was the 4.0 firmware update...

Hi Amber,
I own an iPod touch 3g, and iPhone 4. (just FYI)
As per Apple's technology, "firmwares" can only be upgraded and can never be downgraded.
I don't know whether it's legal to post here, but I'll take chance. You can use TinyUmbrella (in future) to backup SHSH blobs, so that you can downgrade. If you want to know more about this, then let me know.
Coming to the current issue of White Screen of Death, try pressing both Home and Lock button for sometime (10+ seconds) and see whether you get any result on the screen. You should see the Apple logo, and it should boot normally. I've bricked and unbricked my devices a lot of times.
Just remember that you can NEVER brick your device permanently, so don't panic.
If you need any more assistance, then let me know.

Loaded Samsungs new firmware v2.15 on my BD-P1590 Blu Ray only to now have an electronic rock. My question is Samsung says ship to them and for a service fee they will repiar. How do I get into the Blu...

EESH - a lot of people seem to be having this issue.
Is yours stuck saying "LOAD" and won't do anything else, or is it truly bricked?

In any case, there's a few options.
first, remove any discs that may be in the unit, and unplug the unit for about 20 minutes.
I'm hoping you have the unit hooked up with an hdmi cable.
Turn on the TV, switch it to the HDMI input then turn the TV off
plug the blu ray back in
Turn on the TV - it should signal the blu ray to power up...this may take a while.
If the unit powers up, it may give the option to upgrade the firmware. Do it. It will take a long time in most cases (20 mins or more depending on your internet connection).
If it simply powers up and says "LOAD" followed by "no disc" - it's probably ready to use.
DO NOT let the unit auto-power off. this seems to be when it bricks itself.
If this works, please post a reply here, as a lot of people seem to be having this issue with this player (ie - 15 minutes out of the box, and it's a brick, or 2.XX upgrade bricks it)

If the TV doesn't power the unit up within about 15 minutes, hit the power on the blu ray remote. Don't use the front panel, and continue as if the TV turned it on.

Lost connection while upgrading firmware. Lost

You have to wait for the upgrade to finish. The router should automatically reboot and the time is depending on the firmware being applied.

Psp dosnt come on

There is a good chance your PSP is bricked, especially if you tried to upgrade or downgrade your firmware recently. Bricked means: the hardware is still in good shape but the firmware fails to boot. That problem can be removed by using "Pandora's Battery", if you just google around you will find out how to do it, there are psp repair services that do it for you as well. Basically the idea is to get the PSP into a condition which will allow you to rewrite the firmware.

WAP54G bricked power led blinking LAN connection shows as not connected

you did not specify where the wap is connected when you pinged it. Try this, connect the wap54g to your pc. Assign static ip 192.168.1.5 on the lan of the pc, then ping 192.168.1.245. if you can ping you should be able to access the configuration page. if the power is still blinking you can upgrade the firmware

WA840G firmware went bad :(

Hi, Based on your post/description, I would assume that though you did not complete the upgrade, you were able to restore the WA840G to the original/old firmware. Second, you still wish to upgrade again but using a different method other than web configuration. Perhaps you can try a telnet session to 192.168.1.1 or the default which is 192.168.40.1 or the IP add you have set it to if you have modified it before. I have successfully tried this on a LinkSys WRT54G & NetGear MR814V2. Might or might not work for you. "?" or help should give you the basic line commands. But then again, if the system has crashed and the unit is bricked, that is a harder problem and you might be better off replacing the unit. Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things are or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
