Try the following region hack procedures.
1. Turn on the player with no disk inside.
2. Wait for the no disc message.
3. Press REPEAT 57538.
4. The number 2 will display in the top left corner
5. Press 9 to select multiregion.
6. The Samsung BD-P4600 is now region free.
It works on most Samsung BD-P4600 .
I purchased a BD-P4600 from the UK and had it sent to Australia since they were never released here.
Followed the instructions above and it worked OK.
The only thing different was there was no indication in top left corner, I assume you ment the TV screen is this correct?
Next thing is I am contemplating firmware upgrade!
Which will default factory settings.
Has anyone done thisprocedure after a firmware upgrade?

This will only work though with the original firmware I may add and should only make DVDs region free NOT Blu-Ray as Blu-Ray can not be set to region free.

No (4) number 2 appears on the TV screen.
I continued with pressing 9.
Unfortunately no multicode change.
