You must get the same exact board for your laptop, there are no other replacement boards.
You have to get one that says it is for the IBM Thinkpad T30-2366-81U.

If you are talking about the Boot, HDD, Bios password, then the only one way to recover it is to implement a chip on the systemboard to shorcut the protection or to contact Lenovo for a systemboard replacement.

you can go to the BIOS setting? if you can,look for "Boot Device Priority" or something like that,it's usually placed on Advanced settings. Set the first boot device as your harddisk,save the settings and restart your computer
