How to connect sound system to Hisense LCD tv

With my old CRT TV, I had 3 RCA plugs connected from the sound system to the back of the tv, in the 'monitor out' plugs. I have a new Hisense LCD tv, I have tried connecting the 3 RCA plugs to different plugs in the back of the new tv, but can't get it play dvds or videos. It works well for digital and HD tv channels. When I change the 'source' from digital to whatever I have connected the sound sytem to, I get the message 'no signal' Thanks, Suzanne

How do i get my playstation to play through my home theater. I have a 32 inch telefunken vegas lcd tv

If you have an a/v cable for your playstation, run the yellow wire to the video input of the tv and the red and white rca to the input of your sound system....put your tv on a/v or input and put your surround sound system on the input of where you plugged it in at....gd luck....

Would like to play old Coleco game on LG LCD tv, Comcast Cable HD system....how to hookup ?

Most older game consoles used an RF output (connected to the anenna jack of the TV, tune to channel 3 or 4 to see the game). And most used a RCA plug on the end of a cable to connect. You will need an adapter to go from the RCA plug to an 'F' fitting (like on the end of a cable TV wire) to connect to your television. Then, with the game turned on, you will have to program or scan your TV to find that signal.

There are a couple of different ways you can do this but this is the easiest.

Items needed - One set of RCA audio cables (Red/White)

1) On the back of your TV there should be RCA plugs marked as "Audio Out". Connect the RCA cable to these connections Red cable to Red connector and White cable to White connector.

2) Locate on the back of the surround sound system the connections marked "Audio in (VCR)". Connect the other end of the RCA cable to this connection Red cable to Red Connector and White cable to White connector.

Now to get the sound to play press the "VCR" button on the surround remote and you should get the cable box sound on the surround system.

Good Luck.....

Have new lcd hdtv. Have old headphones can they

Yes. 2 possibilities:
1 - the new tv has a headphone jack - just plug them in.
2 - no headphone jack - buy a RCA to phone jack adaptor, plug it in the audio line out RCA connectors, plug the headphones into it and mute the tv.

RCA f20580wn 20" TV about 20 years old

Hopefully you have the problem solved.

If not, the RCA plugs, listed as input 1 and 2 are shown on channel 91 and 92.

I recommend connecting the DVD to either input. Turn on the DVD. Then run the auto programming function of the TV. It will find and program the channel for the DVD. Then use the channel up or down on the remote you are currently using and you should find a working DVD.

Hope this helps.

LG 47" LCD TV - 47LC7DF Clicking Noise

the old saying is that any issues will likely show up in the 1st 3 days if you run it for 72 hrs. if it dosent fail then it will last.
other than going to the show room and seeing if their unit does the same.
they will likely want to send a service guy to check it out and decide for himself.

Sound is ridiculously low

if it is a stereo tv, there should be rca jacks on the back of the tv [red, white yellow] try connecting the rca outputs to a stereo system and see if the volume is any different.there might be a loose connection to the tv speakers inside.if you have a cable box hooked up to your tv, check the connections in back. you can also try bypassing the cable box by connecting the cable wire directly into the tv to see if it's the tv. if it is the cable box try unplugging it for a minute then hook it up again.i had the same problem with my cable box. hooking it up to a stereo system sounds like a pain, but at least you will have sound.
good luck
