Ok, I'm using an 1GB Ilo MP-556 with a 2GB SD card attached. It works great, but whenever I switch to Card, it only shows me as having 400 songs, when I actually have almost 1400 on the card. What can I do to get the other 1000 songs back playing?
You cant expect all mp3 players to play as many songs as u wnt. each mp3 player has a limit of memory card that needs to be attached. see whats the maximum memory your mp3 player can support. and also see if you can locate all the songs when the SD card is connected to your computer

The Samsung S730 digital camera will work with 2Gb Secure Digital (SD) cards without an issue. If you want to go with a higher capacity card you can also use 4Gb and 8Gb SDHC cards.
Check the owners manual for limitations on the external memory. Sometimes the MP3 player has a limit on external memory. Lets say 2 GB. Also make sure the lock switch is disengaged. Also try to reformat the player.
You cannot just move WMA songs onto the card and play in the MP3 player. MP3 format may work this way, but for sure the player only seems to be able to recongize WMA files when syncd through Windows Media with the USB cord attached. Be sure the DESELECT 'copy folder hierecy' under the sync options/properties of the MP3 player drive or SD card drive.
When using XP Pro and Windows Media Player you can transfer WMA but you have to go into the PROPERTIES of the drive (mine was mp-556/G: drive) and DESELECT the option to transfer folder hierecy. The MP3 player is not able to reconginize the folder structure it usually creates.
This player only seems to be able to transfer MP3 format with Vista, using windows media player sync. I can syne MP3s formats, but not WMAs at all. Unless someone found otherwise
the ILO player referred to there is electronically identical, if not physical and the update works with all the Rave MP AMP series. I had a hard time finding this but it was worth the effort.
