NEED A NEW DRIVE BELT (RUBBER BAND)

DO YOU SELL PARTS

I had this problem. The drive belt that lifts the disc reader was too worn out to lift up to the disc. I replaced it by taking a regular sized baloon and cutting off the rolled up piece on the bottom. Worked  great in place of a belt.

The balloon thing worked! I tried different sized O-rings but they were all too big or too small or too tight or something. THE BALLOON WORKED PERFECTLY. And it was FREE!
    Thanks.

Just go to a well equipped hardware or auto parts store. Take the old belt with you so they can find an exact replacement. Good luck!

A part came off and dont know where it belongs

You will need to lift felt on the platter section exposing the platter. Next you will need to pull upwards on the platter itself. The rubber band goes around the inside of the platter and onto the spindle motor. To replace, simply lift platter section of the unit, place the belt around the inside of the platter and replace the platter. Move the platter around till you see the motor and use some tweesers to pull the belt over the motor. Hope this helps

I need a belt for a sharp vhs

is there a repair shop nearby that can sell u a part? if not get a heavy duty rubber band. Assuming u already know how to take apart the vcr to get to the belt, use a rubber band as close in size to the original. it may not be the ideal solution. but if they dont make vcr parts anymore it'll do fine.

CD Rom drawers do not open or close, drive belts have popped out

Unfortunatly, these belts are not availible for consumer purchase and, most service centers will just replace the entire device. i have used regular rubber bands that are identical in size to run many rom drives. this method seems to work just fine.

Its very unfortunate when these original belts break and, there is no replacment belt on the market. the only option is to purchae a store bought rubber band that matches the same size as the broken original band. this will work.

Size rubber band gmc jimmy bortec 6 cyl model 1996 motor 4.3

Oh No!!!! theyre using rubber bands as a fuel alternative? Was afraid they would get to that sooner or later!!!
Seriously, even without the numbers, if you are referring to the serpentine drive belt, every parts house has the # in a source book...all you need to tell them is the engine size and power options (steering, a/c etc) and they can give you what you need!!! The belt number varies with manufacturer, so even if you had it, they would need to look it up to cross reference it to whatever brand they sell.

Can't find replacement belt for Zach & Dani's coffee roaster

After we got over our anger of Nesco/American Harvest using 'insurance reasons' for not selling the drive belt to repair our roaster, we went to Office Max and purchased a bag of (10 @ $2.44) Alliance 'X-Treme' file bands (good ol rubber bands) they are 7" stretchable in size, and these particular ones are the new EPDM formula, which adds durability, last longer and is latex free so they don't dry out. This was extremely easy to fix vs packing and sending the complete unit to WI and then paying twenty some dollars for repair and waiting three weeks plus for return not to mention postage to and from. I've roasted three batches (including testing) so far and we are on the same rubber band. Works very well for us
