Can i use a mic from Guitar Hero: World Tour Wii for HSM: Sing it

You can use any mic that has a usb plug, you can also use the usb mic on your pc too. You will not be able to the mic with GH3, because GH3 does not offer band multiplay, you will need to get GH World Tour or a GH track pack. You can also use the guitars from GH for all the Rockband series too. So having the mic already, all you would have to do (if it has the usb) is connect it to the usb plug in the front of your console. I assume your using the PS2 b/c of the pic. You can also use the drums and mic from PS2 with a PS3. You can't use the guitar from PS2 for PS3 unless you buy this wire that converts the controller plug to usb, on ebay they are $4-$5, obviously a lot cheaper than buyer another guitar @ $40-$50. Do you realize that you need a wii controller to be logged in for you to be in use of the controller?
Just log it in (unplugged) and plug the mic into the USB slot at the back of the wii.

The rockband dumset is diifernet from gutair hero world tour's drumset.

On Guitar Hero: World Tour you can play using the microphone and guitar by selecting two profiles and choose the band option in either career mode, quickplay or online. A single profile cannot be used for both microphone and guitar at the same time.

Have you checked theres nothing wrong with the receiver?

Say like its not picking up the drums...

take the battery cover off the wii controller and press the red button. then open the cover at the front of the wii and press the red button. do this when you are at the wii menu. this registeres the remote

1. slot the game in and press start
2. game will load
3. with world tour u get the mic,guitar and drums.
4. to use the mic plug it in a usb port (at the back of the wii) / for the guitar there should be a cover at the back that u take off and plug the wiimote in and for the drums there should be a slot in between the simbles unclip it and plug the wiimote in.
5. and to learn how to play the game on the main menu u should see career,quickplay,head to head, nintendo wfc,music studio rock star creator mii freestyle,music store and options.
6. press green/A on quickplay and click on training>tutorials and there u should learn how to play the game.

Solution: Wii Console needed to download a software upgrade from the web to run Guitar Hero World Tour. Internet connection in our home is via a Linksys ADSL wireless router. Entered Wii Setup menu (select Wii button on bottom left of screen). Changed Connection 1 from None to Wireless. Wii picked up the SSID broadcast from the router. Did a Test Connection which worked. Wii Console prompted me to 'download Wii System Upgrade from Web?'. Clicked OK. Download took approx 10 mins. On completion of download Guitar Hero World Tour loaded automatically. Note: I have read that the Wii uses wireless protocol 802.11b. Make sure your router has both 802.11g and 802.11b enabled or 802.11b only for the duration of the download. Best of luck.
