Why is my Maytag Epicz model #MGDZ600TW2 not starting and giving me an error code F01. What does it mean?

The F01 error code is typically a communication fault. You may have a defective main control board. Unplug the dryer or turn off the breaker to the dryer. Double check to make sure dryer has no power. Remove the screws holding the top on at the back of the dryer. Standing in front of the dryer push down and slide the top away from you then lift. With the top removed you will see a metal bracket on the left side housing a control board. Remove the control board from the bracket. You may want to take a picture to reference where the wires go. Remove the white cover of the control board then gently remove the control board from the white housing by pressing in the small tabs. If you see a black mark on the back side of the control board and the white housing replace that control board. According to your model number the main control board is part number W10111606.

Screen went black, no picture

Hi
This is more than likely your (upper Y buffer board) that has failed, turn your Tv off then remove the back and stand, once the back is off then look to your far left hand side you will see 1 x big board which is your Y SUSTAIN and further left of that you will see 2 x boards ( long rectangular shaped ) connected to that and to the screen via ribbon cables.
You need to replace the one at the top left.
They have a number on the board that you should right down then Google or Ebay it for a replacement.
99% of the time this will cure the problem.
If this helps please comment and vote.
Thanks

Mitsubishi convergence IC replacement: this applies to sets that use (2) STK-392-570

The Idea here is to get the Middle Circuit board out so you can replace the Convergence Ic’s.

HERE is what you will need: (most of this you can buy on the internet or at local electronics stores)

Two new: STK-392-570 CONVERGENCE IC’S
One good soldering iron
Solder
De soldering braid or wick
Liquid flux
Heat sink compound (grease)
Denatured alcohol
One short Philips screwdriver
One small clean toothbrush
One electric screw gun to REMOVE screws

Turn the set on and examine the picture for how the Convergence looks bad---when you are done examine it again---once in a great while you will get and install a new IC that is bad. Remember this when you have finished—if the convergence is still bad but different from what you started with you may have installed a new I.C. that was bad. Turn the Set off.

  1. Unplug set.
  2. Remove back cover.
  3. Remove front speaker grill and inspection plate behind it.
  4. Remove the 2 or 3 black screws that go thru the back edge of the plastic frame that hold the chassis down.
  5. Where all the video and audio jacks are on the right edge of them you will see a diagonal plastic (Black) remove the two brass screws from the outside edge, remove another to the right bottom and a third smaller screw forward and to the left; remove plastic piece and all four screws and set them aside.
  6. Look carefully at main board in center of the set.
  7. You will find a number of screws hold it into the plastic frame.
  8. Towards the left back edge of this (to the right of the plastic you removed) you will find a metal cover with a small screw on either end. It has a lot of round holes punched in it.
  9. Remove both screws and pull the shield up and off---remove the board beneath it by releasing the two tabs on the bottom right side and pulling the board out—handle it with care as it is the digital convergence board that stores the set’s memory of adjustments. Set it aside
  10. At this point you need to pull the entire Chassis back at least a few inches---If it does not slide back look for a plastic latch on either side near the front of it. Some sets have the latches on the left or right side—black plastic tabs that lift up.

Faulty JVC PLASMA DISPLAY MONITOR model number GM-P420E Left side has a black line approx' 6-8cm wide from top through to bottom. How can this be repaired?

Does it have a buffer board? If so, check the IC burnt on the buffer board. If bad, replace the buffer board. Check the flexible connector exactly below or above the black line. Is it inserted correctly? Does it have an IC on the flexible cable? Is it brunt? If so, you need a panel. If the buffer board is OK, then you will need a panel

Hi i have a 93

The jumper looks like a staple from the top side . It is soldered to the bottom of the board. The copper trace can be followed from pin 2 through the staple ( jumper ) to pin 6 of IC 2004. Remove the staple ( unsolder from the board ) then solder the staple from pin 6 to pin 7 of IC 2004. The IC has a notch at one end. Pin 1 is the first pin to the right of the notch looking down on it from the top. The pins are in consecutive order 1,2,3 etc. Hope this makes sense.
