Smartboard power light blinks twice, then no power.

My smartboard is one of the older ones. When I connect power to it, the green light on the tray blinks twice, then goes out and nothing will work. It may be the controller, but I do not wish to spend funds for a controller until I know for sure. Is there any way to determine what two green blinks mean? Power is apparently going to the board because the lights blink.

This has been a problem because the board has no model number anywhere on it. In the bottom right hand corner is this:
    Smart Marker/Smart 2000 - nothing else

On the controller underneath the board is the following information:
    KTS Model K107
    Serial 3-354

I am positive it is the 500 series, but no numbers of any kind on board or frame.

First check the power of your system because if power is not working properly then light blinking.and then the condition of the capacitor on the board.

I want to connect my dsi to a SMARTboard for a school presentation. I need to show a flipnote to two classes and four teachers. I think a SMARTboard is big enough so I need to know how to connect it. Is...

I do not know of a way to do this unless you were to capture the video itself from the DSi. In other words if you are able to rip a video of the flipnote then you are good. But as it stands there is no way to hook it up to a smartboard

The Smartboard is losing the alignment, and the pointer can not appear exactly where I expect it to.

you have to recallibrate the board. on the pen tray, hold down the 2 buttons until the callibration screen appears. with one of the styluses, draw a line from somewhere just outside of the point to the center of the point and release. do that for the other 8. done.

Not getting power to a 580 smartboard.

if you have no led, the board has no power. you can only have 4 usbs in one hub, and each of those usb cables cannot be over 16 feet long. if it's red, it's not communicating with the computer. check the usb port on the computer. disconnect the usb fron the board and reconnect it. if it's amber, there is a checksum error, so reset the SC9 controller by pushing the reset button on the side of the SC9 for no longer than 3 seconds. if the pen tray leds cycle, all should be well.

Smartboard will not work

If you tried 7 different laptops yeah, the problem could be with the smartboard. Try another one and see what happens.

Otherwise we'll just be guessing.
