What is the AE error code on LG steam direct drive washing machin

The AE error is

The AE error is indicative that there is a leak somewhere in the washer and it has triggered the flood protection device found at the bottom of the machine. What you should do is find out if there is indeed a leak. Try tilting it forward and find out if water will run out. If you can see water leaking from the water, call a repairman!

CHECK / REPAIR / FIX = Check the wire harness connections on the motor and the hall sensor (tachometer). Repair any wiring issues. If the wiring connections check good then check for damaged motor components. Replace if needed. If motor is good the replace the hall sensor.

there is a problem in water inlet valve.....first turn off the water tap.then remove water inlet hose from washer end.after that see the inside of the valve.there is a small water filter in the valve.....take it out it using plier ...then clean it wel....now replace it correctly....now your problem will ok

Error AE is prompted when there is a leak detected at the base of the appliance or when the anti flood safety device gets activated.

Disconnect power by unplugging power cord or resetting circuit breaker.

While power is off remove any water present at the base of the appliance.

If there is no water, check the pressure switch, wiring and control board for faults that may result in error AE. Check also setting of the drain hose at the back (it may cause siphoning), and make sure that inlet valve is not leaking.

Are you sure it's says AE for the error code.  LG doesn't list that particular error code.  Please check again.

if its a direct drive remove the rotor and see if theres a loose magnet etc,hope this helps
