That means your microwave is broken. Replace it or go on a service.

GE spacemakerXL microwave JVM1650 w touch screen Hi speed not working on external vent fan

It seems like the control panel is malfunctioning. The censorfor external vent fan may not work due to faulty control panel. You need toreplace the control panel, so that microwave will work properly. Replacing anERC is not a difficult repair and can be accomplished by the average do-it-yourselfoffer. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

My ge microwave model jes1384sf stopped working and sure that the power is going to the microwave, But clock, timer and contol panel etc. nothing turns on. Is there anything can be done to find out what...

You have a power fuse inside of the panel that supplies AC power to the panel as well as the klystron tube. This is generally a slow blow 15 amp Buss fuse. Since these fuses deteriorate over time and they are sized to just hold the requested amps (15) to prevent a possible fire. You will have to take the Panel apart and find the fuse, but be sure you flip the breakers as the panel has a High Voltage power section with large capacitors that can produce a nasty shock. Before touching any thing with the breaker power off, short the capacitors to ground to discharge them, then pull and replace the Buss fuse.

Hi, When my GE jvm1650bb microwave starts, it begins to work and then blows the fuse in the house. Does this every time, the circut is not overloaded. Is their a part that went bad that I can replace?

Try your oven on another circuit in your house. It is curious that your oven doesn't blow its own fuse before the house one. If it doesn't blow the fuse in the "new" circuit, check to see what is really on the kitchen circuit. It might, in fact, be overloaded. Good luck.

Ge jvm1650 microwave oven totally inoperative.

There will be a fuse, a cavity TCO (thermal cutout/thermostat) and a magnetron TCO.

These are the parts to check.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here. (Don't forget the suffix).

Accessing some components for testing and possible replacement will require you to remove the oven from the wall.

If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

Check fuse. Remove 3 screws from the plastic grill located at along the top front of the unit. Remove the phillips head screw above the control panel. Slide up and pull out to partially remove control panel. You will see a white fuse. Replacement is CD3G 125v 20amp or BUSS ABC 20 or Little Fuse 314020 at 250v 20a. Radio shack caries the ABC.

The microwave starts, then stops 2 seconds later

I tried a solution posted on another posting http://www.fixya.com/support/t242480-stops_cooking by placing the conductive plastic behind the control panel and it worked.
