1st insert installation cd and wait for installation prompts...

2nd, follow prompts and look for installation process to finish.

3r, insert cam to usb and wait for computer to recognize camera... then follow installation of driver.

try it out now. it will work.

Download the webcam installer for your webcam from the Logitech website-all you have to do is state which wecam it is you are using!

Hello this is a good start. I would make sure the exact model or at least the series for your webcam is the same as this download.
I have a logitech quickcam myself and worst case maybe my CD can help you but if I lost it I can locate one on one. Let me know if this one works. Also I have gotten into the habit of saving a copy of each CD that comes with anything immediately on my hardrive and then burning those off to a DVD later on to have a super backup. As I get good at finding them online I think I will let this go but not yet.

Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page.
Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"

In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to download Microsoft DirectX 9 or later to support your webcam

Procedure
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Logitech
Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must.
Connect your webcam when prompted.

Hi - not much information but I guess you are having trouble installing the software. Go to the logitech website - identify your product and download the software from there. Once you have it installed click > start > all programs > logitech webcam and this will launch the toolbar where you can get aquainted with it.
