My Lexmark X3350 is leaving horizontal white lines in the print. It prints all the material but skips about every one and a half inches leaving a white line about one eigth in wide. I have replaced cartridges, cleaned nozzles using Maintainence tab and a clean cloth, printed alignment page, and used paper path cleaning sheet. Thanks for your help. Clarice
I just fixed this problem. first i bought a new (remanufactured 3rd party) cartridge off ebay and found it wasn't working either.
there are cartridge cleaning instructions in the troubleshooting help section that show you how to carefully wipe clean your cartridges. follow that, it solved my problem.
Try to re-seat the cartridges in the printer. Open the printer
cover > remove the cartridges > close the printer cover > re-brick you
printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where
the power cord is plugged in, and re-plug after 10 seconds. When the printer
turns on, reinsert the cartridges and close the cover. Try to print a document
again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, the problem could be due to a clogged print
cartridge nozzle. Please follow the steps below to fix print quality issues
with your model:
From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through to clean the print cartridge nozzles.

Same exact problem. This is not an issue with print carts it seems to be mechanical within the printer itself. It prints the entire page but INSERTS a line every couple of inches as if the paper advance jogs ahead a bit. There is no data missing from the print. I have new carts in and all cleaning/calibrating has been done. There is no mention of this problem on Lexmark's site and of course the printer is a few months out of warantee. Help out there???
