Hi, unfortunately my Wii fell onto the carpet last

Hi, unfortunately my Wii fell onto the floor in the lounge last night (onto thick carpet), only a foot down from the coffee table. Most things work OK ie it comes on and we can play the pre loaded Me game on the Wii still, but there is a problem because if now says it cannot read the discs when we insert them to play various games. The blue light comes on when I insert disc, and it now makes an intermitent buzz-buzz-buzz noise when I load the disc in, which does stop. Do you think this problem is something that is repairable? If so, have you any idea how? Also, as an alternative to normal discs, can games be loaded on an SD card instead and played via this means? If so, how would I load the games we have on disc to an SD card to play them from here? Many thanks for your help in advance
Will

I think that the laser inside the disk drive has skipped

lets say the laser moves from a to b (a is the start)(b is the end)

the laser might of jumped to b but the console still thinks it is at a and it keeps trying to move it towards b but it cant go any further because the laser tracks stop

you could open the console up and test the drive or replace the disk drive

I have used my wii fit plus 3 times with no problem but yesterday i did body test then went training first few games were fine then it started saying my weight was a little different than before do i want...

Yes, it's completely normal. To avoid this, try to take the BMI test at the same time everyday. If you have a big meal in between the weights, it might say that.
Also, the batteries on the board may be running low. Try with some new ones and see if the problem persist.
Also, try keeping the Wii Balance board on a flat hard surface, such as the floor. Do not use it on thick carpets since it might report bad measurements.
Hope this helps.

My wii fit balence board is not regerstering my movements on one side, how can i get this fixed?

make sure you are using the proper set up for yourself and not someone elses. For instance if my 70lb son tries to use my settings at about 260lb the board will not read the same.

Also make sure your balanced on a flat floor not some thick or shag carpet that is giving underneath it this will change your weight distribution.

If these are not issues it is possible your batteries are just to low and dont have enough juice to fully function.

Update on SC430 Sat Nav and TV conversion

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

Actually I made a follow just last night to robotek (Australia). Unfortunately nothing to report. You might be interested to view yourself the discussion and pls feel free to join the Lounge discussion here on a possible source of an Australian version of the SatNav/TV. Incidentally, roboteks email address is likewise posted there should you wish to send him additional information/request.

Cheers.
