When i connect the mp3 to the computer for recharge it says that i have a problem with the hardware and he's not charging. what can i do because i've lost the instalation cd?

Turn up the volume on your iPhone. Also, try connecting your iPhone or any other media player, e.g. computer, to the AUX IN jack on the speaker and see if the volume is higher for that connection.

You can charge it connected to your computer or buy an adapter that you can plug in the outlet for an mp3 player.
It comes with a USB to recharge on PC, you cannot recharge in iPod stand. I believe iPod has the market on this.

MP3 players are charged with the supplied USB cable and connecting it to a computer's USB port OR connecting it to an USB 5 volt mains charging adapter.

If you've let the charge fall below 25% then the only way to recharge it is with your AC Adapter.

If it's above 25% then you can recharge it with your USB Cable connected to your computer.

if you know how to port forward, then forward the b.u.s port to your usb port.

It could be possible that the connection on the mp3 player is damaged, which would explain the connect/deconnect sounds and the recharge problems.

I have the same player. You can use a rechargable battery. But you cannot charge the battery by connecting it to the USB. You must charge the battery with a AAA battery charger - they sell them at walmart for like $15. The rechargable battery really works excellent in this player - I listen to my player all day long and rechargeable batteries are the only way to go for me! Make sure you have four batteries though so you can always have a backup charged as the charger takes 8 hours to charge the batteries.

Your battery is recharged when connected to your computer. Turn the player off and connect it to your computer via the USB cord. The computer must be turned on. Initial charge should be for 10 hours with subsequent charges 3 to 4 hours for a full charge. A quick charge of 1-1/2 hours will give you a 70 percent charge. A fully charged battery will last up to 15 hours under normal use.

Connect it to a computer & it will start recharging.
