Casio TE-4500F cash register scaning problem

Turn you machine to P2 and while pressing RF button , swich on the mains and press sub/total

Your best bet will be a casio dealer

Basically any DL drawer with the same connection on it as the one you have. Sometimes the register may not sit perfectly on top - some drawers have holes to secure the feet of the register, but it should be able to open the drawer. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turn key to program 0 CASH SUBTOTAL Turn key back to REG

The only time it will blow the fuse is if someone has shorted out the cash drawer wiring. Check the wiring to the drawer first, and insulate any bare wires. Then you can replace the fuse. It is a solder in type on the main pcboard. Sometimes the half watt resistor in series will be cooked as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 subtotal 0132 subtotal enter characters press the CA/TEND or CASH or CA or the lower right hand button press subtotal

Turn key to program mode
2 SUBTOTAL
Type the word CASH on the alpha sheet
Press 00 (double zero)
Press the cash button
SUBTOTAL

Hi. If it is completely dead, it may need initialising, or hardware resetting. Does it show any signs of life at all?

This is the only thing I haven't managed to do with them. I've tried many methods and consulted other techs, but it seems they are very separate memory areas. You will probably just have to program the product into the scanning PLU file as well.
If I find a way, I'll try to post it for you.
