Ipod woulnt connect to itunes

I plug my new 5th gen ipod nano into my computer with my usb cable and its starts connecting and then i starts ejecting right away.on itunes screen it says..An Ipod Has Been Detected, But It Could Not Be Idnetified Properly.Please Disconnect And Reconnect The pod And Try Again. and i disconnect my ipod and the usb cable many times and the same thing happens

Reset your iPod:

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Then connect it to your computer and see if it is recognized by iTunes.

If not, try other USB ports on your computer, especially any on the back panel.

Click start control panel scroll to folder options tick in the box to show hidden files and holders

connect your Ipod to your computer
Click start click click on you Ipod to open
then go Ipod controls device there should be a folder saying locked

Right click select rename to open or delete the folder your Ipod should now be open

It is modle a1320 and i fogot the skrean lock pass

    When I try to download music from pc to my ipod, pc says connect

    Hmmmm check wit the data cable once.. try using different USB ports els different data cables itself..

    - if cable workin fine den try doin a hard reset.. i.e with d iPod plugged in 2 d comp try resetting iPod..

    -Els check if ya iPodz getting recognized in iTunes.. if itz gettin not gettin recognized reinstall the itunes software.. or follow dese steps-

    IPOD NANO 8 G is locked. How do I unlock?

    Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano.
