I have a Mitsubishi TV and had the same problem. There is a mirror that moves to control each pixel. When some of them fail to move you get the white dots. Google your problem and a company will come up(sorry forgot the name).,you can buy the new part from them and they have exact utube videos to help you do the repair. Took me about an hour. Part was around $150. Very rewarding feeling when you turn the tv back on with no white dots.Still dot free after two years
we recently cracked our lenticular screen on our 73 in mitsubishi i called the manufacturer and they said they no longer make them. so i looked thru websites to see if i could find some one with a 73 in tv or bigger that they were no longer using or didnt work and i found a guy on www.ksl.com that had an 80 inch tv and we went to go pick up screen cut it to my tv size and it worked!!.
These are fairly simple, remove the speaker cover and then remove the screws at the bottom of the screen, then the whole thing lifts up and off, be sure to unplug the front panel controls, this plug can usaly be found just behind the cover behind the speaker grill
You would have to completely take the Mirror out or Mylar backing and being careful not to damage anything, trying to move and reassemble when you get at the new location.
these sets have bad connections in the picture yokes take the spekerr grill off and front cover move the wires around and see if the pic comes back be careful ok
