Remove keys for cleaning sticky children

theres screw holes in the bottom of the the laptop and 2 or 3 have a "K" next to the hole. The "K" stands for KEYBOARD. undo those and then right above the "F" series of keys (F-1 F-2 F-3) etc there is 4 tabs evenly spaced out from left to right and u push them towards the monitor and the keyboard will pop right out. DON'T PULL ON THE KEYBOARD AFTER IT"S FREE!!! Its attached to the mother board by a 2inch wide electrical strap. U can undo that on the mother board side only. Be carefull it's very fragile and sensitive to humans messing with it. Installation is the reverse of these instructions. Hope it works out for you.

The motherboard may have lost the ablity to charge the battery. However before we panic, get a old toothbrush.Clean the contacts on the battery and the computer.I used this on my own Dell with the same issue. If you are still unable to charge the battery. You may have to replace the mother board.

HP pavilion zd8000 start-up problem.

Try to unplug all the PCI cards and boot, if its still doing it check the ram. If its still doing it check to see if the power supply is good. If all that fails, It could be eather a bad mother board or bad processor.
