I believe the code 47 on kohler is the Almond color. If you special order the Brevia(cheapest) model from Lowes, I remember it being in the 20s or 30s... Many places don't carry this color in stock as they like to carry white ones. Bemis (aftermarket company) carries seats that fit kohler as well. Call your local store and see which one is cheaper.
Sorry about the misfortune. I think you have a couple of options, and one depends on how "handy" you are with repairs. ( I hesitate at using that term because everybody is handy at something ).
**Unplug the unit before attempting any service to the washer...safety first**
The top panel will come off fairly easy. Remove the screws along the top at the back and the panel should slide back slightly and then up and off.
Once removed you can either attempt to hammer out the dent or replace the entire top assembly.
It is part # DC97-08634S ( based on the model number WF337AA indicated at the top of this post, double check with your exact model number and likely serial number to insure it is the proper color ) and is available at "searspartsdirect.com" for approx. $115.00US. as of June 27,2010.

Just remove the bolts/screws that fasten it to the bumper.
Hamer it to shape, fiberhlass resin the inside, putty and bondo the outside, fine sand 400 220, 150 80 from coarse to fine , prime it and 2 coats of the car color paint bomb, fasten it back to the bumper.
