I have a Chinese-make 1GB ipod. It was playing all MP3 songs normally until a few days back. I copied some songs from the net and after that it shows `format error' and all the songs are played only for less than one minute and automatically it goes to the next song. I tried formatting my ipod after copying all the date onto my PC. Even then it does not work. Please let me have a solution.

What type of mp4 player is it, and what type of files are you trying to upload?
Hi
File system error can appear due to unplugging the MP3 player without disconnecting it. It may have happened due to formatting it with a different file format or due to memory issue with the player. Please reformat your MP3/MP4 player. Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...
