Motorola razr v3i itunes problem

I use datacable to transfer mp3 songs to itunes folder of my mobile but it did not runs as itune and it can be payed only as a ringtone.
I use motorola phone tools to transfer data.Did i need to use any other application.

    I have the same problem. It says my phone is suppose to show up when I connect my phone via USB cable in Itunes, but it is not showing up. Help!!!

    I didn't transfer with my cable. I already have ITunes installed. It is when I plug in my phone via the data cable Itunes is suppose to show my phone and it doesn't. That is the problem I am having.

    yah, i gotthe same problem... i want to use the itune but how? i tried sending mp3 songs via bluetooth but it did not worked. same by transferring via USB port....please help me....i want to use the feature!!!thanks...

    i tried to download mp3 ringtones on my V3i phone using data cable from my PC to my phone's memory card. but whenever i tried checking it on my phone if it was successfull downloaded, no mp3 tones reflected on my storage device. but for pictures no hassle doing it. do i still need the itunes for this?>

As I know iTunes downloaded audio files (M4P - "protected AAC") have DRM protection which prevent users from converting it to other formats or playing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, cell phone like Motorola, etc..

Usual data transfer wont work for installing i tunes. hers the solution: download the latest version of apple itunes. www.itunes.com when you download it connect your v3i and so on.

How to use mp3 songs in itune and how do i add song in it?
First Step is to install the Itune software in ur PC and then run the installed application
Second Step is to drag the MP3 song from PC folder and drop it to the I-Tune Window

The best way to transfer song is to connect your mobile with the PC and use the connection type as mass storage and then you can simply transfer data as you do in a usb flash drive.

you can't transfer files to itunes through card reader.... insert back your card to your phone, connect to comp, and upload songs via itunes software.. no other way......

Down load problem
first ul hav to download the itunes software frm the internet or the cd provided to u..after that ul just have to import the music files to the itunes. then connect ur mobile and load music frm ur itunes file to the mobile...if u have any doubts keep me updated..will b glad to help

Motorola V3i plays song using itunes. You need to import song into your itune library in your PC and the steps are as follows. 1. Run Itunes in your PC. 2. Attach your V3i mobile to the PC using the supplies USB cable . 3. Then a message will come "do you want the itune enabled phone syncronise with itune library" click yes. 4 Your V3i will appear as Formula6 in the left side menu bar of the . Simply select your favourite song and drag it to the "formula6". If you click "Formula6" you will find all the songs in your V3i. Just clik and delete any song from V3i if you want.

Problem with v3i & itunes
Try this;

Copy the songs that you want to another folder like, My Music, then close Itunes. Now plug your phone to the pc and copy the music files from your newly created folder to your phone. Remember to keep Itune completely closed.
