Earpiece not working after hooking it up with a bluetooth speaker

Hi I recently toyed with my ROKR's bluetooth and used it to access the speakers on my DELL ATG E6400 laptop's speaker. I was satisfied because im not really a techi guy and was fascinated when i am able to play music from my Mobile phone to my Laptop.
After playing music and when i tried using my phone to make a call, the earpiece started acting up. I am unable to hear any audio coming from the earpiece but when i try using a headset or try to hook it up with a laptop's speaker i am able to hear the dial tone/voice of the person on the other line.

Please guys help me.... It feels awkward to place all outgoing and incoming calls on speakerphone specially now that i don't have a headset..

Go to Bluetooth settings and turn on Bluetooth.
The paired devices will be shown.
Delete paired device or unpair device .
This should solve the issue .

Since the mobile is paired with the Bluetooth speaker every time a call comes in the phone automatically connects to the Bluetooth speaker.

Switching off the Bluetooth speaker may also work.

This headset doesn't work natively for voice dictation unless you initiate listing via your phone. There are specific headsets that do facilitate voice to text but it is specific headsets with certain phones and may require an additional app.

My samsung WEP650 bluetooth earpieces audio is not working. I am able to talk and the other party can hear me but I can not hear anything on my end. Any suggestions?

From your explanation, audio (microphone) is working: instead, speaker isn't working.

Have a phone/electronics service technician help check your Bluetooth earpiece out.

Speaker connection cable is disconnected (internally).

Otherwise, the speaker has defects and must be replaced.

A last resort may mean the Bluetooth headset board is bad.

Which is the best earpiece for mobile

From experience, bluetooth wireless headset is the best. However it may not be handy in listening to the radio. You can try to swap them with others of the same type but be aware of fakes. Fake ones will not pick radio signals.

I can only hear a caller when using the speaker phone otherwise it is like my phone is on mute although they can hear me. Any possible solutions appreciated, not ready to replace just yet.

    Hello there,

My dear friend, the problem is simply that the earphone of the bad/ damaged that is why you cannot hear anything on the phone. As long as your caller can hear you but you cannot hear them, then it is confirmed, because, the speaker is on a different side of where the earphone of the phone is.

The solution is just for you to have the earphone of the phone replaced.

But before replacing the earphone of the phone, you can use a bluetooth hands-free temporarily or an external earpiece that you can connect to the phone and be using on the phone temporarily before replacing the earphone of the phone.

Using a bluetooth hands-free or external earpiece is quite cheap and is of easy access.

Hope this was helpful to you.

    Spekar not working

If its the ear speaker you need a new earpiece. If its the ringing speaker/speakerphone speaker you need one of those. Check around there are repair facilities popping up all over now... I assume it wouldn't cost over $35. If your in USA check out: www.cellphonerepair.net

My LG KM555E phone is not working well, I can't hear any call any txt without using headset. The speaker is not working.

You will need to open the phone to get access to the board so as to check on the earpiece. Now it is confirmed that the earpiece is faulty and the board is working perfectly as the external headphone is used with good result . So using a multimeter check the continuity of the small speaker, remove and check. If resistance is open then the earpiece has failed. If not the sensitivity has dropped. make sure there are no blocks on the earpiece to prevent sound.

The speaker in my MOTO ROKR E6 stopped working since today morning. It was working till yesterday. The only thing that I did was I added a new SIM card for the phone. The video and Audio was actually...

This can be a coincidence but I feel that the earpiece speaker is faulty. Since your headset is working then it is for sure that the circuit is functioning. So it is either a connection of the speaker jack not linking back to the speaker after the jack is withdrawn. SO if you are able to open the phone check with a multimeter on the earpiece speaker. replace if faulty.

Can I take apart the logitech A-00006 headphones easily.

The padding comes of easily, hook your finger under from the inside and push out gently. Once removed reviles 2 philips screws. Once they are removed you have to pry the 2 plastic disks that form the swiveling ear piece apart. Then you have access to the speaker, which is glued down with a still very sticky substance but will come up quite easilly, then remove the screw from directly under the center of the speaker, then you can pop off the swiveling earpiece that is on a kind of ball and socket joint, this took quite a bit of force. This is as far as i'm going as I now have access to the damaged part of the wire! And also the 4 screws mentioned in the original question. Hope this helps.

Everything is working fine except the ear piece

The other post refers to the process that allows you to use speaker only, instead of automatically selecting earpiece. Unfortunately, this will not resolve your issue, as it appears that your earpiece has a loose connection and must be repaired, or you can continue to use speakerphone, bluetooth (if capable), or wired headset.
